Practice with fundamental sentences that are useful in everyday speech. Presented several times and then used to answer a relevant question.
OLL! Snowballs
English sentences are broken in to four parts and shown to the student one part at a time. The student must translate the partial sentence and then keep translating it as each additional part of the sentence is added.
OLL! Madame Le Verbe
A verb of your choice is conjugated in any tense you wish. Highlight verb endings and ask the student(s) to provide each ending in advance of showing the answer. This is presented in the context of relevant vocabulary.
OLL! Time Machine
This drill reinforces an understanding of English tenses, to help better appreciate French ones. It helps the student test knowledge of tenses and their use within the context of a relevant sentence.
OLL! Picture This
The Picture This drill is about associating new vocabulary with an image and then going onto to use that vocabulary in a relevant sentence. It helps break things up a bit by introducing images.
OLL! Quiz Le Choix
A multiple choice quiz with four possible answers presented for each question. The student (or students) must read the French question then pick the right answer. There is a time limit for each question and the score is kept.
